ENTSO-E CGMES - Dynamics
notes: Call 12 Dec 2013, 17:00h-18:00h CET Call 12 Dec 2013, 17:00h-18:00h CET
Here a short summary of the call we had on 12 Dec
1) We reviewed the process outlined in the slides
2) The group agreed to use the test model developed in the frame of ENTSO-E WG SPD activities as a baseline model for this effort (the harmonised implementation of CGMES dynamics). The link to the ENTSO-E report is in the presentation and the model is explained there.
3) By 15 Jan 2014: All vendors will produce a CGMES equivalent text model and make this available in the CIMug site (the folder that Chavdar created). This model will then be used to run a pilot validation of the results for the standard models included in the ENTSO-E report, i.e. models mentioned in the attached slides and not included in the ENTSO-E report are a next step. The results are expected to be the same as in the report. The aim is to test the procedure and to make sure everyone understand what to do in the process.
4) By 15 Jan 2014: Chavdar will make a draft version of a short test procedures based on the ENTSO-E report by WG SPD; templates for collecting simulation results should also be available.
In general, every time when a standard model is tested the test model will be modified to e.g. replace one excitation system model by another which is the object to test. Every vendor will import the CGMES xml representation of the model run defined simulations and produce the results in the templates. ENTSO-E Secretariat will merge the results and then everybody will assess if the results of the comparison are reasonable.
The slides are available here.
